I think they are. While there are many things I didn't think would catch on that I did cave into (bell bottoms, leggings, skinny jeans, etc.) I would not cave if it came down to unibrows.

It really depends on the culture you are in. There are many places where it would be mocked and scorned, but it does come down to a person's personal choice.
