The second pair looks sort of like a shaved poodle or something... so if you must, go for the first pair.

Though there are a lot of brands making similar styled boots, so it may be more worth your money to shop around and not just shoot for the brand, especially with what some of these people are saying about them going out of style and such.

I would recommend NOT getting UGGs. If you want winter boots, there are SOO many better options out there. I'm not sure if it snows where you live, but UGGs are useless in the snow. On top of that, they are really not that cute. On the other hand they are comfy, warm, and versatile. I like the second better (I love boots with the fur), but the first might be something you'd feel more comfortable wearing. If you really want UGGs, and don't particularly love the second pair, get the first pair. If you don't really love them you just won't wear them as much as you should/could.

Also, I think the first pair is available in multiple colors, and I'm not sure about the second- so you have more options when it comes to color, too.

I like the color of 2nd ones better. If you can get #1 style in #2 color, that'll look much better

Well if I had to choose, #1. The second pair is too much fur-wise.

i'm an urban gal and i still wear my uggs for lounging around. i'm not into wearing or doing what everyone else is so i'm ok with the fact that some people have moved on from this trend. i find them too cozy to give up just yet.

btw i have both pairs and like them both.

friends don't let friends wear uggs. that said outside of the oin-trend they were 3 years ago they are useful and comfortable quite rare for girls footwear that/

For what it's worth, Uggs aren't in style now like they used to be. The Uggs look has moved from urban (NYC, Chicago) to the suburbs in the past year or so, and while they're definitely good, warm boots, they're not the fashion statement that they used to be.

That said, I like the first pair best.

From a guy's perspective the first ones are definitely better.

I agree, the first ones look much better. The second set is just too tacky.

I think the 1st ones are better. More practical and wearable. The second ones are not something I would personally wear. The fur would end up getting dirty and it would wreck them.
