Haha, those strapless pics crack me up!

Socks with sandals is cool, that's what I rock on a chilly autumn morning.

Unfortunately, that is not a new trend. I'm afraid that will never die. – Ashley Dec 11 at 3:32

i dont like skinny jeans much either, especially when they are too small everywhere. Stop stealing your younger sister's pants! and I also hate this trend that has started out at my school where guys take there jeans and turn them into frayed shorts. I dont like seeing other girls in shorts nor do i like seeing you in them, stop!

Jeans.

I'm wearing them right now, but I still want to say it. Wearing decent looking trousers is a dying if not almost dead trend. If they are not part of a suit, most men don't wear them. Ever. Luckily the express-style chino's are becoming a lot more popular, and it's considered very acceptable to wear them. I actually think this is one place where American men tend to do slightly better than our european/asian counterparts.

Either way it's not that jeans are ugly, it's that they've taken over any outfit anyone wears. Hopefully the chino trend will fix this, but I'm not entirely sure. Men are getting away with a lot of crap these days. (including me)

Skinny jeans. I don't like looking at these androgynous girl-boys decorate my pubs and nightclubs with their emoness and irony.

Although I am not a fan of skinny jeans either, they aren't just worn by "androgynous girl-boys" with "emoness and irony." That is completely stereotyping with a tinge of what comes across as something like homophobia. A lot of people (mostly women) wear them every day and on the right person as part of the right outfit, they can look really good. They are just really uncomfortable for a number of people and I personally don't understand how they can get their feet out of the holes at the bottom. – Ashley Dec 11 at 3:30

I'd say the strapless look takes the cake alt text

I have never seen that look outside of specialty clubs (gothic versions all decked out) or off the runway. Does it count as a trend? – Ashley Dec 11 at 3:34

pink shirts for me, never understood why guys would wear something like that.

It is mostly the light pink shirts with popped collars. They are all over the place on college campuses. :/ – Ashley Dec 11 at 3:32

sweater vests, whose bright idea was it that grampa look = fashionable?

I think the whole orange guy, spikey hair, pink shirt with popped collar look probably takes the cake. But then again it might be a local occurance for NYC.

Trucker hats are bad, I agree. They've been out of style for a little while now though, which is good.

What I really dislike, though, are the Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier looks popular now. They are ugly, cliche, and (I think) automatically make the wearer look like someone who has no idea how to dress, so they just go out and spend lots of money on something that someone tells them to buy.

I can't help but think "douchebag" when I see someone wearing one of those shirts. Example:

Jon Gosselin from Jon & Kate Plus Eight.
